TO MAKE AN ORDER      

The saw-mill of the complex Sodruzhestvo Novgorod branch produces and supplies:

1. WOODWORK SAWN TIMBER
   sawn timber with high percentage of radial sawing, core absence
   the surface quality allows to convert timber at the optimization lines (knots removing) without preliminary dressing
    
2. BUILDING SAWN TIMBER
   sawn timber of any size conditioned by a client, observance of the geometrical parameters of cutting
    
3. CONSTRUCTING SAWN TIMBER
   building sawn timber sorted according to the BS 4978 standard (analogue of EN 338):   sorts SS and GS ;
   constructing materials strength provides buildings safety
    
4. BALANCES (softwood, birch), TECHNOLOCAL RAW MATERIAL (aspen)
    

For timber production the following softwood sorts are used:

• pine        (the company's own stock in North-West regions of Russia)
• spruce           ( the company's own stock in North-West regions of Russia)
• Angara pine  (supplies from Siberia)
• larch         (supplies from Siberia)

SAWN TIMBER ASSORTMENT:

•    edged building board (cant)
   
  
•    edged constructing board (cant)
   
•    of radial sawing board (cant)
   

We provide contract conditions fulfillment according to the following parameters:

• size:
  Any size requested by a client. Observance of geometrical parameters of cutting
   
• humidity:
  natural;
  Chamber drying can be ordered
   
• sorting
  For constructing sawn timber:
  according to the European standard EN 30 that defines timber endurance, we conduct the sorting by the methods defined by the British standard BS 4978 standard (sorts SS and GS); sorting according to the state standard (if ordered)
   
• Supplies amount:
  We can supply up to 50 thousand m3 of sawn timber

Transport can be provided    according to the contract conditions.
 

The information about international standards certification

Sodruzhestvo Novgorod branch fulfils sorting work according to the British standard BS 4978 Visual strength grading of softwood

This standard establishes demands for two sorts:

• general constructing sort GS
• special constructing sort SS

as well s the demands for the sorters' attestation

It is conditioned that softwood sawn timber sorted outside of Great Britain may be marked with standard's accordance mark by the personal brand of the sorter, who has been specially trained.
Sodruzhestvo Novgorod Branch owns the license BM TRADA Certification and its personnel is very well trained.

An analogue of BS 4978 is the European standard of strength classification EN 338 according to which the sorts C14, C16, C18, C22, C24, C27 correspond with GS and SS.
